2025 – TRUCKING SAFETY MANUAL ORDER FORM
FMCSA Regulations require all fleet employers to keep all licensed truck driver employees in compliance with the requirements of a Commercial Driver's License.
It is essential to understand and be trained on any recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm, such as hours of service limits, required safety equipment, and other personnel requirements.
Violations of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations may result in the following fines and penalties pursuant to 49 CFR § 383.53(b)
(1) Driver violations. A driver who is convicted of violating an out-of-service order shall be subject to a civil penalty as stated in part 386 Appendix B, in addition to disqualification under § 383.51(e);
(2) Employer violations. An employer who is convicted of a violation of § 383.37(d) shall be subject to a civil penalty as stated in part 386, Appendix B...;
CPS will prepare and provide a comprehensive written safety manual that will assist fleet employers in complying with fleet safety standards.
